My name is Katie Valentine, I have grown up on the coast since primary school.

I am fully qualified ( specialising in Montessori ) and fully registered and have been teaching for over ten years, I am very passionate about supporting children with extra needs, social and emotional competence, for children to feel seen, heard and nurtured, to have fun and to create a culture of kindness and respect.

In my spare time, I play Fast and Slow pitch Softball, CrossFit, learning to surf/skate, drawing, cooking, have adventures and hanging out with my puppy.

I am also on a chemo pill for the foreseeable future for a rare cancer syndrome that I have.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you all more and to be a part of your child’s learning journey here at Pukeko.
