Hi, my name is Linda. 

I have lived on the Hibiscus Coast for over 40 years and still enjoy exploring our amazing beaches and nature walks.  My involvement in ECE began many years ago as an active parent helper at my children’s preschool.  I then became a reliever and started my studies. I gained 120 points towards my Early Childhood Certificate before completing my Diploma in ECE in 2006. 

My passion is working with toddlers and the older children.  I believe parents know their children best so I work hard to develop warm and meaningful relationships with families/whanau to help support them and their child’s journey through one of the most important parts of their childhood.  I enjoy setting out and partaking in activities that stimulate a child’s senses including messy play. 

I also enjoy collecting and setting out many of our natures gifts for the children to explore and play with.  I have a love of books and enjoy bringing in some of my special books from home to share and read with our tamariki.  In my spare time I like to spend as much time with my family.  I enjoy learning more about natural products and remedies.  I also enjoy container gardening, doing crossword type puzzles and reading.
